17 weeks

So far, so good! Not much to report, which I guess is a good thing. I have felt what I *think* has been the baby moving, although it feels nothing like "flutters" as it is so often described, but more like gas bubbles popping. And they're almost always on my left side so I have a feeling that is where we'll find Beanie's feet in 2 weeks (unless s/he surprises us and does some acrobatics in there between now and then)!

I've been doing pretty well about getting my liquids in & I've been out walking for 1/2 hour every morning (nice and early before it gets too hot) for the past 3 days. Otherwise, I feel like a bum. G hasn't been home this week (basketball clinic) and I've really had nothing to do, aside from a couple of little household tasks here and there. It will be SO much better once G isn't gone all day (after this week)...plus then I'll have 2 appointments & my IF GTG to look forward to! :)

Here's my 17w pic...

  1. Hafsa - I have to keep reminding myself that I am, despite the tiny belly I've got going on. I seriously wake up every morning and have to re-tell myself that I'm pg...sometimes I have to have G tell me because I still don't believe it. It's such an odd place to be in!

  4. Teri, that's definitely baby that you're feeling! I used to describe it as soda bubbles rising in a glass. :) You look great!! I love your little bump. At 17 weeks with Nathan, there was nothing little about it... but then again, there's nothing little about him at all! You're not doing nothing--if Gregg asks, just tell him you made a lung today. :)
