Hadley is F-I-V-E!

My eyes are even getting teary just typing this out, but our little (but not-so-little-anymore) first-born is really FIVE years old...FIVE...like going to kindergarten next year... *sniffle*  but Haddy told me I can't cry this year...not until she's six! I just can't believe it! Where has the time gone?

Hadley is now 42 and 3/4" tall and weighs 37 pounds.  She wears size 5-6 clothes and size 10-11 shoes.  At her well-visit this time, she took her eye test (no problems!) and received a booster for her MMRV.

Hadley LOVES school and from what I can tell is a really great friend to her classmates and a good helper to her teachers (we've never heard anything otherwise!)!  She continues to push every limit possible at home, but I guess we'll take it in exchange for super-good choices at school!  She loves everything Paw Patrol and is really a great big sister to Carlie.  They truly are BFFs (and they fight like them, too!).

Hadley still enjoys dance (though she's not sure yet if she'd like to continue next year or not, we will see) and is looking forward to swim lessons and soccer in the spring.  Her favorite foods are pizza, waffles, and quesadillas & she still wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.  She also says she's going to marry Carlie and they're going to live together with 100 cats and dogs! :)

Whatever she does, wherever her dreams take her, we know that it will be with spunk, spirit, and joy!  Happy birthday, Hadley! Mommy & Daddy love you to the moon and back!
